Subthalamus
|
The
subthalamus is a region beneath the thalamus and lies directly
above, dorsolater and caudal to the hypothalamus. It includes
several clusters of nuclei of the ventral and rostral brainstem.
The following nuclear groups are generally included in the subthalamus.
