University of Wisconsin-Madison

The University of Wisconsin collection was assembled in the Department of Neurophysiology (currently the Department of Physiology) at the Madison campus of the University of Wisconsin. The university campus is less than a mile from the state capital. The Department of Physiology is in the School of Medicine and Public Health. The brain collection rooms were located in the Medical Sciences Building.

Michigan State University

Michigan State University is located in East Lansing, a short distance from the state capitol in Lansing. While administered by the Department of Anatomy, the brain collection was housed in the College of Natural Science, in the Colleges of Human, Osteopathic and Veterinary Medicine, in the Natural Science Building, adjacent to the departments of Zoology and Geology.
