For those who desire to understand how manatee brains are constructed, we present an array of coronal brain sections through the entire brain of the brain of specimen # 85-32. Below are cell-stained sections that are arranged from the front of the brain at the top left through the back of the brain at bottom right. The successive sections are "read" as one reads the text of a book.

Greater detail at 72 dpi can be seen by "clicking" on any of the small pictures.
